ESRI ArcMap icon integration HOWTO

For ArcMap (ArcView 8 or 9) do the following

1. Install the Green Map icon font you wish to use (v2 and/or v3)
2. Download and extract the appropriate GreenMap.style from
   • http://greenmap.mit.edu/misc/GMStyle2.zip
   • http://greenmap.mit.edu/misc/GMStyle3.zip
3. Layer Properties> Symbology > Symbology Selector > More Symbols > Add…
   OR
   Tools > Style Manager > Styles > Add…
4. Browse to GreenMap.style

The style includes all icons as point markers, as well as line symbols for pedestrian zone and on/off road bike path; to use line symbols with the v3 style you will also need to install the v2 font. The names are essentially as given on the poster, with some minor changes.
